Jeet Kune Do
martial art for self defence
Jeet Kune Do (JKD) is a contemporary martial art concept that emphasizes practical self-defense in real-world situations. It integrates principles and techniques designed to counteract aggression effectively, drawing from a diverse array of combat disciplines such as Wing Chun Kung Fu, boxing, karate, Kali, and jujitsu, among others. JKD is characterized by its adaptability, eschewing rigid structures in favor of a more fluid and responsive approach. At its core, JKD aims to distill combat to its most efficient forms, ensuring maximum efficacy in real-life confrontations. This martial art is a reflection of its founder, Bruce Lee's philosophy, promoting the art of simplification and directness in defense tactics.

It all started in my teens when I began practicing karate. Martial arts became my passion and I explored different styles because I was curious about all the ways of doing things. When I discovered Jkd, it was a revelation for me. I could put into practice everything I had learned previously without constraint of styles or dogmas. I finally found my way! My martial arts experience: -karate kyukoshinkai (8 years) -aïki-jujitsu nintaï ryu(8 years) -wing chun Kung Fu (3 years) -Jeet kune Do(6 years)
