Mind–Body Practices at Tension

At Tension, we believe embodied practice extends beyond rope.

Mind–body disciplines — when taught with care, consent, and respect — can support grounding, awareness, and long-term sustainability in physical and relational work.

While we are not currently running regular yoga or movement classes, we are open to hosting more workshops with aligned facilitators whose work resonates with our values and community.

What We’re Open To Hosting

We are interested in welcoming teachers and practitioners offering:

  • yoga and gentle movement practices
  • somatic or body-awareness work
  • breathwork (non-coercive, non-performative)
  • nervous system regulation and grounding practices
  • mobility, recovery, or restorative movement
  • body-positive, trauma-aware approaches to movement
  • queer-affirming and inclusive mind–body practices

This is not about trends or performance.

It’s about presence, consent, and sustainability.

For Students & Community

If you’re interested in seeing mind–body programming at Tension — or would like to connect with someone for private sessions — let us know what you’re looking for. Your interest helps shape future offerings.
