Tension is built on strong foundations — consistency, clarity, and a deep respect for the responsibility that comes with teaching rope, kink, and embodied practices.
What enters this space shapes people’s experiences, their safety, and their trajectory.

If you are stepping in as an educator, you are not filling a slot. You are contributing to an ecosystem.

We are inviting educators who:

  • Have a clear relationship to what they teach

  • Can articulate why their material matters

  • Are engaged in an ongoing process of learning and questioning

  • Understand the weight of teaching in a consent-based, risk-aware environment

  • Bring something that adds — not just repeats

This can take many forms:

  • Technical deep dives

  • Conceptual frameworks

  • Body-specific approaches

  • Emotional or relational work

  • Niche explorations that have not yet been widely centered

WAYS TO GET INVOLVED

There are multiple ways to get involved:

  • Through a straightforward rental
  • 50/50 split, offering a lower-risk way to step into the space.

Come prepared, with a clear proposal and a strong sense of what you want to bring.

  • An idea of your costs so that your price can be determined
