Montreal Fetish Weekend is back, and our doors will open once again. Tension runs all year: classes, open space, and community events every week, not just this one. When Fetish Weekend comes around though, we do what we always do, only louder and longer, and generally more accessible. Three nights, three ways in. Whether you tie, get tied, watch, shop, get your kink on, or just want to feel the room, there's a spot for you.

Friday, Sept 4 — Casual Kink · 21h → 01h
We're opening the weekend slow and easy. Casual Kink is a relaxed play party: no dress-code pressure, no performance to live up to, just space to connect, play, and settle into the weekend at your own pace. Come early, stay late, find your people.

Saturday, Sept 5 — KNOcTAMBULE · 19h → 23h
The heart of our weekend. KNOcTAMBULE is our community-led open house performance night: students, emerging performers, and seasoned practitioners share what they're working on, and the rest of us get to witness it. There's no competition here, and no hierarchy. Just practice, experimentation, and presence, held by the community that shows up for it.
This year the night runs on five separate sign-ups: performers who rig, performers who model, photographers, volunteers, and the public. Everyone has a way in. Scroll down for the one that fits you.
Free and open to the public. Optional fundraisers on the night help cover our costs and seed future community projects at Tension, but nothing stands between you and the door.

Saturday afternoon — Workshops
Before the lights go down, we teach. Our Fetish Weekend workshops are hands-on, welcoming, and built for real skill-building, not spectacle. [workshop lineup + times] Willcat's shibari demonstration and Q&A returns as always: an intimate look at the how and the why of rope, open to questions you didn't know you had.

Sunday, Sept 6 — Kinky Craft Fair · 12h → 18h
We close the weekend in the daylight. The Kinky Craft Fair brings local makers and artists into the space with handcrafted gear, rope, art, and oddities you won't find in a big-box shop. Free, public, and family-of-choice friendly. Come support the people who build the things we love, then take a piece of the weekend home with you.

As Fetish Weekend winds down, we’re turning up the heat one last time. Go Out With a Bang is a high-intensity play party where nothing is censored and everything is welcome. Come ride the weekend’s final wave in an environment that’s raw, unapologetic, and ready to burn bright before the curtain drops.
