We're heads-down preparing for TREX next month. So this June, we're stepping back from the spotlight and pointing it at the community around us — the people and spaces that make Montréal's kink and alternative scene what it is.
Some of these organizations have been doing quiet, consistent work in this city for years. Others are throwing parties that deserve your attention. All of them are worth knowing.
A queer erotic art festival that's been building something real in Montréal for several years now. Three days of performances, workshops, a market, and encounters — all built around pleasure, consent, and body autonomy. This year they're going bigger: more artists, more programming, more space to connect. Tickets start at $0 (pay what you can). We'll be there as usual.

Montréal's LGBTQ+ community for puppy play and pet play — human pups, handlers, trainers, and everyone curious. They've been running monthly events in a safe(r), welcoming environment for years, open to all regardless of orientation, gender, or experience level. Consent and community-first, always. June 20 is their monthly park. If you've ever been curious, this is a good place to start.

A monthly open practice for GBTQ+ men who tie men — running consistently in Montréal since November 2019. Welcoming to all levels. Come with a partner or alone; watching is participating. No instruction, just practice, presence, and community. This is exactly the kind of grassroots organizing that holds a scene together.

We'll be throwing a Solstice party.
We'll leave the details where they belong among the people who already know.
If that's you, you know where to find them.
If you know, you know.
